Window users can easily create a shortcut to another drive or a folder shared on the network by mapping the drive location. When you set up a new drive, it will show up under ‘This PC‘ in ‘File ‘Explorer’. To make the network drive shortcut in Windows 10, simply follow the steps below.

1/ Open ‘File Explorer‘ and select ‘This PC‘.

2/ Click the Computer Tab and click ‘Map Network Drive‘ button in the ribbon menu.

3/ Select the drive letter you want to use for the network folder and type in the folder path.

4/ If you do not know the folder path, click browse and locate the network folder.

5/ Confirm your selection and click ‘Finish‘.
